Day 15 Monday, February 13, 2023 Santa Fe
It's only 4 1/2 hours from Amarillo to Santa Fe so we made a few stops once we crossed into New Mexico. First was the welcome center where we loaded up on maps and brochures. Then we stopped at the Blue Hole which is a geological phenomenon which is a clear pond 81feet deep and 61 degrees fed by underground springs and popular with scuba divers. We also stopped at a church- Santa Rosa de Lima.
When we finally arrived at Santa Fe we drove by our Casita but we couldn't get in until the next day. We got a hotel room nearby and went to Tortilla Flats for dinner. Oh by the way did I say it started snowing as we were approaching Santa Fe. We brought it with us.
