Happy Valentine's Day
Got up eager to go see our Casita but first we stopped at Smith's Grocery Store to pick up a couple of things. We were not disappointed when we got to our Casita as it will be perfect for us for the month. It was snowing and Ron had driven nearly 3000 miles so it was time for a rest. All the schools were closed and museums and many other things close when the school close. We familiarized ourselves with our new digs, unpacked and read and relaxed.
It was still snowing when we woke up Wednesday. It was icy and the schools were still closed. By afternoon it had stopped and the sun came out so we ventured out to the visitors center which was still closed. We drove to Museum Hill to scope out our activities for Thursday and decided that we'd start with the Folkarts Museum.
Since we will be in Santa Fe for a month from now I'll just highlight the places and experiences we've discovered.
