Day 19 Friday, February 17, 2023 Turquoise Trail & Madrid
Today we took a drive down Rt. 14 or the Turquoise Trail with our destination being Madrid (not pronounced like the city in Spain but like Madrid Waddington, a town in NNY. It was started by a man from that NNY town.) Now it is an artists enclave with galleries filled with ceramics, Turquoise jewelry, paintings, pottery etc. Talked a long time to Mike Lancaster, an artist, and screenwriter. We'll be watching for his horror film Ink to come out.
